Sandustry critters

Sandustry critters are named wildlife, not a combat bestiary. Steam’s store copy says you can take advantage of local wildlife. The official wiki publishes two creature pages, Lumling and Shinelet, plus a Corraller tool. Everything else is still a redlink or a trailer silhouette. Official store copy, the Hooded Horse wiki roster, and Steam patch notes are the only sources for numbers on this page. Community names stay in the alias column.

Named official critters

Lumling and Shinelet are the only creature articles that existed on 15 August 2026. They do not have published health, damage, or tame chances. This page will not invent them. The Corraller is the official handling tool. Achievement text on Steam includes Critter Catcher among the highlighted set, which confirms critters are a real system, not flavor art.

Treat wildlife as optional labor and as something that can walk through a factory you left open. Walls and Lights help more than a gun.

What is not documented

Sweeper Drone and Recon Drone appear as homepage names or redlinks. They are not extra animals. Do not file them here. Taming steps beyond 'use the Corraller' are unpublished. If a video shows a critter hauling Sand, believe the footage as one possible interaction and still refuse a fake stat block.

Catching without wrecking belts

Close the factory before you wave a Corraller through it. A tamed or startled pixel creature walking a Shaker deck is a Residue flood with legs. Catch in the overworld, then decide if you even want the labor.
